Located opposite the future development site, on the edge of San Diego’s historic Gaslamp Quarter, the Theatre House Display Suite was designed to capture attention from the street and introduce visitors to the story of the California Theatre. Dramatic curtains and theatrical lighting reference the site’s heritage, balanced by raw industrial detailing and the restrained simplicity of contemporary Melbourne design. The lighting guides visitors from the project model and street-facing displays toward the sales and closing rooms, positioned within the quieter, more private interior.

Working closely with the project’s marketing and business development teams, my role was to plan the visitor journey, enhance the client experience and support the sales process. The apartment palette and design language were carried throughout the display suite, allowing it to become more than a setting for presenting the development—it was conceived as a gallery of the lifestyle, atmosphere and materiality of a future Theatre House home.
